Shift Handover Notes
A personal log for one shift window: todos, exceptions, and what the next crew should start with. The log stays on the phone.
JW3 TRUST LIMITED publishes this application. You set the window, the site, and the role. Version 1.0.0 does not create an account, does not sync the log to a server, and does not replace a workplace safety system. A store listing address is not printed on this site until it is public.

One log per window
Each handover names the window, the site, and the role, then splits the work into three lanes so a long paragraph does not hide an open item.
- Title, site, role, time window, category, and priority. Title and time window are required before the log can save.
- Todos: a task title, priority (High, Med, or Low), an optional line of detail, and whether an open item should carry into the next log or stay on this shift only.
- Exceptions: a short summary, a factual detail, and a kind — Equipment, Stock, People, or Other.
- Next-shift focus: up to three short lines for the incoming crew.
- Categories used for filters and starters: Front desk, Warehouse, Ops, or Other.
- Priority on the log itself: High, Med, or Low. High means the next crew should read it first.
Carry, starters, and a file
Open items can be copied into the next log. The earlier log stays as history. A starter copies a structure. You still write the window and site for that day.
- Blank log, a starter, or a carry of unfinished items from the last shift.
- Starters on the phone: Front desk morning, Warehouse night, and Ops swing. A starter is not a store offer.
- Shift list with filters for status (Open, Handed over, Pinned), priority, and site, sorted newest, oldest, or by priority. Filters apply only to logs on that phone.
- History of handed-over logs, and a version snapshot kept on the phone at each save.
- Counts on the phone — logs saved, open todos, open exceptions, items carried — come from local files. They are not a live dashboard.
- Export of one log as text, CSV, PDF, or a JSON backup, through the system file picker. The JSON backup can also hold logs, starters you copied, and settings. No broad storage permission is requested.
Left on the phone
Version 1.0.0 stores shift titles, site names, todos, exceptions, next-shift lines, optional pictures, copied starters, version snapshots, and settings in private application storage. It does not send that log to JW3 TRUST LIMITED.
- No account and no sign-in
- No upload of logs, pictures, or settings to our servers
- No advertising and no in-app purchase in version 1.0.0
- No analytics or tracking kit in version 1.0.0
- A picture, if you attach one, uses the system photo picker. You can keep the log as text only.
- A reminder to log stays off until you turn it on. If you decline notification permission, logging still works. The reminder is a local notification.
Remove a log
Deleting one handover removes it from that phone. That cannot be undone on the device. Clearing all data removes every handover, copied starter, and setting on that phone. Uninstalling the application removes its private storage. A file you already exported stays in the folder you chose. The application does not replace workplace policy, safety reporting, or an official incident system.
